European DataWarehouse (EDW) has unveiled its latest innovation, EDVANCE, an AI-enabled all-in-one data access platform designed to streamline access to securitisation data. The platform, which debuted at the TSI Congress in Berlin, consolidates a wide range of features into a single, comprehensive website, making it easier for users to manage data related to public and private securitisation.
EDVANCE allows users to access data across both European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) templates. The platform also offers underlying transaction documentation, enabling users to manage multiple portfolios and analyse data tapes efficiently. According to the company, this new tool replaces previous systems, including the EDITOR website, EDW Direct SQL Access, and Excel-based EDW Deal Reports.
Dr. Christian Thun, CEO of EDW, emphasised the importance of this new platform, stating, “This one-of-a-kind platform represents a natural evolution in our data access solutions, marking a major leap forward for our users.” He noted that the continuous enhancements to the user experience and interface have made the transition to EDVANCE the most impactful update yet.
One of the standout features of EDVANCE is the introduction of a comprehensive counterparty database. This database includes over 50 types of contacts, such as issuers, cash advance providers, and portfolio advisors, covering nearly 700 European asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions. Users can filter their search by country or deal name, with results displayed conveniently in either list or map views.
Additionally, EDVANCE integrates EDWARD, EDW’s AI assistant capable of generating SQL queries from text inputs. EDWARD was initially introduced to beta users at Global ABS, and now, with its integration into EDVANCE, it aims to make data access even more user-friendly. “By making EDWARD accessible to all data users, we’re unlocking our data for a broader audience—those who previously required extensive training to run SQL queries. The time savings and increased productivity are unprecedented,” Dr. Thun added.
Current users of EDW’s previous tools, including EDITOR, EDW Deal Reports, and EDW Direct SQL, can access EDVANCE using their existing login credentials and subscription packages. For new users, registration is open from today.
As the data landscape continues to evolve, EDW’s EDVANCE platform positions itself as a vital resource for financial professionals seeking efficient and comprehensive data access solutions. With its innovative features and user-friendly design, EDVANCE is set to enhance how users interact with and utilise securitisation data in their operations.
