Hisense, a leading name in consumer electronics, has once again set the stage for innovation at IFA 2024, Europe’s largest consumer electronics trade show. Under the theme “The Scenario-driven Future of Tech”, the company unveiled its cutting-edge advancements in home entertainment and gaming, with an emphasis on large-screen displays and partnerships with industry leaders, including Xbox and the highly anticipated game Black Myth: Wukong.
Black Myth: Wukong Immerses Gamers in New Experience Zone
At the heart of Hisense’s IFA presentation was a dedicated immersive experience zone centred around the critically acclaimed game Black Myth: Wukong, a title rooted in Chinese mythology and the epic tale “Journey to the West.” As the official global partner of the game, Hisense captivated attendees with a 100-inch TV setup that brought the vibrant colours and intricate details of the game to life in stunning 4K resolution.
The featured Hisense U7 and E7 PRO TVs were equipped with features specifically designed to enhance the gaming experience, including a 144Hz Game Mode PRO and Quantum Dot Colour technology. These advanced features, paired with a special Black Myth: Wukong picture mode, offered enhanced HDR capabilities, delivering precise colour calibration and improved dark detail for a fully immersive gaming experience.
For sound enthusiasts, the TVs came with integrated Dolby Audio technology, offering deep bass and a rich soundscape that further enhanced the audio-visual experience, bringing every moment of the game to life.
Partnership with Xbox Elevates Gaming with Laser Technology
Hisense’s collaboration with Xbox continued to impress, with the unveiling of the Hisense Laser Cinema PX3-PRO, the first Ultra Short Throw projector to earn the “Designed for Xbox” certification. With its customisable 4K display spanning from 80 to 150 inches, this projector offers gamers a larger-than-life experience, perfectly suited for fast-paced action titles. The projector also boasts Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certification, ensuring breathtaking visuals.
One of the most standout features of the PX3-PRO is its high refresh rate of up to 240Hz, which ensures smooth and seamless gameplay, eliminating lag and delivering clear, sharp images. Additionally, the projector includes MEMC technology and an Auto-Low Latency Mode, ensuring a flawless gaming experience.
Hisense also introduced its 4K Laser Smart Mini Projector C2 Ultra, recently certified as Xbox-compatible, following the success of the PX3-PRO. This versatile projector offers a display ranging from 65 to 300 inches, ensuring stunning image quality in both bright and dimly lit environments. With support for split-screen gaming, it’s perfect for multiplayer enthusiasts seeking a rich, immersive experience.
Expanding TV Offerings for Home Entertainment
Aside from its gaming innovations, Hisense used IFA 2024 as a platform to highlight its latest advancements in home entertainment. Leading the charge was the Hisense ULED X Mini LED 110-inch UX, a TV that promises a cinematic experience within the comfort of your own home. Powered by Mini-LED X technology with over 40,000 local dimming zones, the ULED X offers exceptional brightness and contrast, with 10,000 nits peak brightness ensuring that even the most dynamic scenes are displayed with crystal clarity.
At the core of this model is the Hi-View Engine X, Hisense’s AI-powered chipset that processes every frame in real-time, guaranteeing optimal performance under any lighting conditions. Combined with Quantum Dot Colour technology and the CineStage X Surround sound system featuring a 4.2.2 channel setup, the UX model provides an immersive, multi-sensory entertainment experience for any genre.
Also turning heads at IFA was the new Hisense Canvas TV 65-inch S7, which blends technology with art. The TV’s Art Mode transforms it into a personal gallery, displaying hundreds of curated artworks on a screen that mimics the texture of a real canvas. The Hi-Matte Display ensures that art and media alike are displayed without glare, while the StyleSwap Frames allow users to customise the look of their TV to suit their interior décor.
