Showcasing Europe’s Finest Swimming Pools and Spa Projects of the Year
The European Pool and Spa Awards, organised annually by the European Union of Swimming Pool and Spa Associations (EUSA), honour the most exceptional domestic (residential) pools, spas, and hot tubs within the Wet Leisure Industry. Each year, winners from across Europe compete for recognition in this prestigious event.
Following the 2024 awards ceremony, Europe’s most stunning swimming pool builds and hot tub installations have been revealed. This marks the 12th edition of these esteemed awards, which concluded with a ceremony on Tuesday, November 19th, at Piscine Global in Lyon.
Representing the UK, local company and SPATA Member, Centurion Leisure, based in Hornchurch, Essex, was awarded Bronze in the Domestic Spas category at the 2024 European Pool and Spa Awards ceremony.

In the 2024 competition, 218 pools from 12 countries participated: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the UK.
The unique thing about the EUSA Awards is that it is a competition in which “the best of the best” projects are chosen because the national associations usually send the winners of their respective swimming pool and hot tub competitions as the shortlisted entries. Therefore, SPATA and BISHTA have again submitted shortlisted entries from the winners of the relevant categories of the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards.
EUSA President Pedro Arrebola Conde oversaw the 2024 Awards ceremony in Lyon. This year, winners came from seven countries: the UK, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland.
EUSA has been hosting awards for the wet leisure sector annually since 2013 in cooperation with several swimming pool exhibitions across Europe. Aquanale (Cologne), ForumPiscine (Bologna), Global Piscine Europe (Lyon), Piscina & Wellness (Barcelona), and SPATEX (Coventry) have all hosted at least one award ceremony.
For the 2024 awards, bronze, silver, and gold winners were announced in the following eight domestic categories: Indoor Pools, Outdoor Pools, Pools with Enclosures, Pools with Automatic Covers, Pools by Night, Spas, Hot Tubs, and Pool Renovation.
The wet leisure trade associations from the United Kingdom, BISHTA (British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association—www.bishta.co.uk ) and SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association—www.spata.co.uk ), will host the 2025 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards at SPATEX, the annual trade exhibition, on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025. A number of these winners will be shortlisted for the 2025 EUSA Awards.
