Warrington is the Sunday Roast capital of Scotland according to new research. Food experts from Lucia, the company behind the study, analysed the increase in average monthly searches for ‘Sunday roast’ between 2022 and 2024 across the United Kingdom. Searches for Sunday roasts saw the highest rise in Warrington and Aberdeen, surging by 100% with Warrington topping the England list. Plymouth ranked second with an 86% rise, and Wakefield placed third at 75%. Other North West destinations featured in the top hotspots with Blackpool in fifth place and Liverpool ninth. Disability advocate and former Royal Navy Commander and barrister Penny Melville-Brown, has achieved another milestone in a life of incredible accomplishment having been recently elected as chair of her local beekeeping branch in Hampshire.
