Appian, a global player in process automation and orchestration, has announced the appointment of Americo Mazzotta as its new Vice President of EMEA Sales. Mr Mazzotta will oversee the company’s sales operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with a mandate to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance the market reach of the Appian platform within the region. He will report directly to Appian’s Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Dorsey.

Before taking on his new role, Mr Mazzotta held the position of Vice President of Customer Success for the EMEA and APAC regions at Appian, where he led initiatives to provide impactful, tailored solutions for clients. His leadership extended across a range of sectors, with notable clients including Santander in the financial services sector, Sanofi in life sciences, and Poste Italiane in transportation. Under his guidance, Appian became a trusted partner to these organisations, helping them achieve business transformation through digital solutions and process automation.
