Broadcom Inc., which recently completed its acquisition of VMware, will be hosting VMware Explore 2024 in Barcelona from 4-7 November at the Fira Gran Via. The event will offer attendees a comprehensive programme of breakout sessions, certification training, and hands-on labs, covering the latest technology and industry trends.

One of the highlights of VMware Explore will be the general session keynote on Tuesday, 5 November, at 9:00 a.m. CET, when Broadcom’s President and CEO, Hock Tan, will deliver a speech titled “Shaping the Future of Cloud and AI Innovation.” The keynote will feature leading figures from Broadcom, VMware experts, and prominent European customers, who will demonstrate advancements in private cloud, generative AI, app delivery, and edge computing. This session is expected to provide deep insights into the future of enterprise technology.

The four-day event will include more than 400 sessions spread across five distinct content tracks. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge on how to optimise enterprise workloads, scale their operations, and improve security as they continue their journey towards cloud transformation. In addition to technical discussions, VMware Explore will highlight the latest innovations in cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and edge technologies. The sessions aim to equip professionals with actionable insights to enhance their operations and embrace cutting-edge technological advancements.

For those keen to explore the full range of topics covered, a complete session list can be accessed via the official VMware Explore 2024 Barcelona Content Catalogue, available on the VMware website.

Beyond the keynote and technical sessions, VMware Explore will provide an extensive range of opportunities for hands-on learning, networking, and certification training. Attendees will be able to interact directly with Broadcom and VMware experts, explore the latest technological innovations, and discuss strategies with industry leaders. The event’s expo will also showcase leading ecosystem partners, giving attendees a chance to see the latest developments in enterprise technology.

Broadcom’s CEO, Hock Tan, emphasised the importance of this event in fostering innovation in the enterprise technology space. “VMware Explore 2024 is a vital platform for customers, partners, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and explore the future of cloud and AI. The event will spotlight the technologies that will drive business transformation and enable our customers to scale with confidence,” Tan said.

VMware Explore is expected to attract participants from across Europe and beyond, with networking events providing attendees with the chance to exchange ideas and build connections with peers from around the world. The event’s blend of technical sessions, hands-on training, and networking opportunities ensures that it will offer something for professionals at all levels.

Looking ahead, Broadcom has also confirmed that VMware Explore 2025 will take place in Las Vegas from 25-28 August at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center.
