TrinaTracker Named Tier 1 Solar Tracker Firm at Brussels Summit

Sam AllcockBy Sam Allcock17/10/20243 Mins Read

TrinaTracker, a global leader in solar tracking solutions, has been named a tier 1 solar tracker company for its exceptional product performance, advanced technology, and positive customer feedback. The accolade was awarded during the Net Zero Europe solar and energy storage summit, which took place in Brussels from October 9-10. The summit, organised by Shanghai Metals Market (SMM), is one of the most important gatherings in Europe’s new energy industry, drawing experts and leaders from around the globe to discuss the latest technological and market trends.

During the event, SMM revealed its global tier 1 list for solar and energy storage sectors, highlighting the top companies in the industry. TrinaTracker was recognised alongside other market leaders such as Nextracker and PV Hardware. The tier 1 designation is an important benchmark for asset owners, investors, and financial institutions when selecting solar tracking solutions.

Shanghai Metals Market, a research firm with over a decade of experience in analysing the photovoltaic (PV) industry, based its rankings on five key criteria: market share, customer feedback, research and development (R&D) capabilities, operational performance, and adherence to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Drawing from a database of more than 900 PV companies and conducting cross-validation across multiple sources, SMM identified the best-performing firms globally.

Juan Manuel Gomez, Head of Global Technical Support at TrinaTracker, accepted the award on behalf of the company. He emphasised the firm’s long-standing expertise, stating: “With over 20 years of experience in R&D and manufacturing, and with research centres in both Europe and Asia, TrinaTracker is leading the way in smart tracking technology, electrical drive systems, and many other innovations.”

TrinaTracker’s innovative approach integrates a highly reliable structural design, intelligent tracking systems, and tailored local services. This model allows the company to deliver optimised solutions that improve efficiency and meet the specific needs of power stations across various regions. By combining efficient delivery with comprehensive support throughout the construction, operation, and maintenance stages, TrinaTracker ensures that its solutions provide long-term value to its customers.

To date, TrinaTracker has delivered over 23 gigawatts (GW) of intelligent tracking systems to more than 700 solar power stations in 60 countries worldwide. The company remains committed to staying at the forefront of the industry by continuing to push the boundaries of product innovation and expanding its global reach. TrinaTracker also plans to strengthen its localised services to ensure that its clients’ solar assets are safeguarded and their value maximised.

The Net Zero Europe summit has become a key platform for companies to showcase advancements in the renewable energy sector. With its tier 1 status now confirmed, TrinaTracker further cements its reputation as a leader in smart solar tracking solutions, serving as a crucial partner for the global transition towards cleaner energy.
